Cùruadh
Pronounced 'coo-roo-adh'
Ethics are subjective, what is ethical to one may be unthinkable to the next, all I can do is be transparent. My animal products are primarily byproducts from wildlife management practices such as culling and trapping, small scale meat production or recreational hunting.
Whenever possible I opt for natural fibres in my products; hemp, wool or linen over polyester. Antler, glass or wood over hard plastics. I operate with a low tolerance to single use plastic and this extends to my re-used and recyclable packaging.
Here at Cùruadh - I do not use generative AI to create products, advertisement or content. Everything you see on this site and my social media pages was made by a real human being. I believe human creativity, skill and effort must be preserved and aim to work with others who share this value.
The skulls, hides, bones, teeth etc that are available will have their individual origins written in the description listing but in general, my animal products come from sustainable wildlife management practices, roadkill, small scale meat production and recreational hunting.
I do not boil skulls, the skulls available have been cleaned via maceration or by wild insects, and if they have been whitened it has been done so with hydrogen peroxide not bleach.
This store is owned and operated by an individual who lives in a rural area - I am not Amazon, I don't do next day delivery. I do a postage run once a week on a Wednesday, so the wait varies dependant on when you placed your order in relation to that day. That aside I offer tracked 24 as standard on all Uk orders.
