This little raft washed ashore on the Isle of Rùm, I don't know who made it, I don't know where it was made, but the side of the island it was found on often has buoys and rubbish from America wash ashore. Wherever it came from, it's been at sea for some time, we can tell this as young barnacles had attached themselves to it. This wee raft makes for a cute decorative piece, perfect for homes with that earthy, 'found treasures' aesthetic.
Cúruadh is a small business owned and operated by an individual, but despite being not much more than a sole trader, I still hold a strong commitment to sustainability. All my packaging is either recycled, recyclable or compostable. I source materials locally whenever possible and will always opt to use natural fibres such as wool, leather, cotton and hemp over synthetics. I run my brand and business with a low tolerance for single use plastics.
