There are two of these bottles available, both identical and in similar condition - the price is for the pair of them. These were found in a bottle midden at an abandoned croft in Perthshire, despite their time in the ground they are in good condition with minor scratches and blemishes on the glass. On one side the word 'Kennerty' is embossed, the other side features the Dairies' floral crest. I can't find much information on the Kennerty Dairy but here is an excerpt from a Wordpress article on Doric Dairies:

'' Kennerty Dairies, was an Aberdeen based Dairy Company, and its name changed to Edinburgh DairiesKennerty’s operations were based on the East Coast of Scotland.  They had a big yard on the corner of Thistle Place with horse-drawn delivery Carts in those days and the Stables for the horses were just 100 yards away in Thistle Lane.  Occasionally, a horse would escape from the stables and gallop down to the Dairy premises causing all sorts of consternation until it was caught.''

This pair of Vintage Milk Bottle would look great on a mantle displaying dried or fresh floral arrangements.

Please note ~ All of my vintage bottles, jars and ceramics have been excavated by hand from decades, sometimes centuries, of being buried in the dirt. Due to their authenticity they may likely have some small chips, scratches or blemishes. All pieces in my shop have been scrubbed and disinfected however there may be slight remnants of rust or dirt which could be removed with more vigorous scrubbing or harsher chemicals.
