These antlers belonged to a young red stag killed on the road near Arisaig. Unfortunately the collision had destroyed his skull and thus he was left at the end of my garden to decompose. Due to kind of being forgotten about the antlers became somewhat sun bleached and have since been re-stained with potassium permanganate. I cannot stress enough how rough this piece is, he's been crudely nailed to a slice of tree that features a D-ring bracket for hanging. Despite his imperfections however - he's quite tall. This deer is perfect for someone who just wants a cheap set of antlers for hanging on a shed or outbuilding.
