This Sika Hind Skull was cleaned via the process of maceration - but forgotten about for about a year - whoops. As a result she is suffering from a little bit of 'peeling' where the pressure washer has damaged the top layer of bone, thus the price reflects the lower quality. She also has one damaged tooth, this happened prior to death and is not uncommon in this particular population of Sika. Despite all this, she is still a fine skull and would make a grand addition to anyones collection. This individual was shot as part of a Deer Management plan for the protection of native woodland and commercial forestry.

I source materials locally whenever possible and will always opt to use natural fibres such as wool, leather, cotton and hemp over synthetics.
