This bottle was found in a hedgerow in Perthshire and likely would have contained aerated water or 'soda'.  This bottle is steeped in rich local history which can be accessed here. The words 'Thompson Craik' are embossed around the base, there is an intricate herring bone pattern around the main body of the bottle and dappling embossed on the neck. This is a really pretty piece ideal for displaying long stemmed flowers like baby's breath.

Please note ~ All of my vintage bottles, jars and ceramics have been excavated by hand from decades, sometimes centuries, of being buried in the dirt. Due to their authenticity they may likely have some small chips, scratches or blemishes. All pieces in my shop have been scrubbed and disinfected however there may be slight remnants of rust or dirt which could be removed with more vigorous scrubbing or harsher chemicals.
