Joseph Farquarson was a Scottish Oil Painter (1846-1935), who often depicted scenes of shepherding. This print of the painting, 'Winter Sunset ' depicts a flock of sheep in a snowy field with woods beyond. The scene is lit by the evening sun sinking down beneath the trees.
